Chiara has established herself as one of the most versatile and explosive riders in women’s cycling, combining elite-level road sprinting with world-class track racing. She currently rides for CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto, where she continues to play a key role in bunch sprints, Classics campaigns, and stage races. Chiara is known primarily as a fast finisher, and has built her reputation across both disciplines, balancing a demanding road calendar with continued success in the velodrome. In recent seasons she has had success with major road victories including stages at the Giro d’Italia Women, the overall title at the 2025 Tour de Pologne Women, and consistent top performances in races such as Gent-Wevelgem and Paris-Roubaix Femmes.

Chiara turned professional at a young age and quickly emerged as one of the sport’s brightest sprint talents. Her breakthrough came in 2022 with victories at Dwars door Vlaanderen, confirming her ability to compete against the world’s best. On the track, she reached an even greater level, becoming Olympic Madison champion at the Paris 2024 Games alongside Vittoria Guazzini and she is also a multiple world champion in the team pursuit and has collected medals across World and European Championships throughout her career. 

Away from results and medals, Chiara is widely appreciated within the peloton for her energetic and upbeat personality. Cycling also runs deep in her family as her older brother, Simone Consonni, is also an accomplished professional rider and Olympic gold medallist.
