Flora Perkins
U23 National Road Race Champion
Flora is a serious young talent in the professional women’s WorldTour peloton, riding for Fenix-Deceuninck Racing Team and Great Britain.
Flora hails from a family who regularly went on adventures together exploring places by bike and she often cycled to school. She captured her competitive instinct however racing around Herne Hill Velodrome (close to her childhood home) socially after school, and it was here whilst surrounded by cycling royalty such as Ethan Hayter and Fred Wright, that her talent really started to shine. As she gained experience, and in her words ‘got slightly obsessed’, her bike became a means to race and she was hungry to be the best and win.
In 2023, Flora finished in the top ten of the National Road Championships road and circuit races, as well as winning a bronze in the U23 National Time Trial Championships. In 2024, Flora went one better winning the U23 National Road Race and the coveted national jersey (4th overall).
