After being one of the most successful junior road riders in the world, having won the Junior Nation’s Cup twice, Pfeiffer began her senior career as the youngest member of Team Sunweb (now Team dsm-firmenich), a set up renowned for nurturing and bringing on young talent. Pfeiffer is an integral member of the team, as road captain and helping the team to achieve some exceptional results, dominating in the sprints.

Pfeiffer started riding when she was only four. She used to live in Herne Hill, just a couple of minutes away from the world-famous velodrome, often going there with her father, Peter Georgi, who raced internationally. Cycling is a family affair for Pfeiffer, her brother Etienne, mother and grandfather all cycle, so she has been brought up with it.

Pfeiffer started racing when she was six and although she would say she wasn’t very good to start with, she enjoyed going with her brother to Castle Combe every Thursday night. When she was about 13 she started getting better and enjoyed cycling even more.

Pfeiffer was first spotted by British Cycling at the National Series races and invited on one of six Olympic regional development apprentice days. From there she has gone on to be the 2014 U14 and 2016 U16 Girls National Criterium Champion and represented Team GB at the 2015 EYOF in Tbilisi. In 2017 Pfeiffer won the Gent-Wevelgem Junior Nations Cup race and at just 17, she won the Senior Track Nationals Madison title.

Her success continued in 2018 when she won the junior Trofeo Binda in a two up sprint on what was the first round of the Junior Nations Cup, run on a similar course to the elites.  She also took fourth in the mountains classification at her first World Tour level race in 2018’s Tour de Yorkshire.

Pfeiffer won a bronze medal in the Team Pursuit at the World Junior Track Championships and ended her junior career with 4th in the ITT and 11th in the Road Race at the World Championships in Innsbruck.

A career highlight came in late 2021, where Pfeiffer stormed ahead to victory at the  British National Championships - an honour to wear the famous stripes. A jersey which proved successful with top 10 results in both Paris Roubaix Femmes and Dwars van Vlaanderen.

2022 was a strong season for Pfeiffer, with multiple team victories, and a first WorldTour podium at Postnord Vårgårda WestSweden Road Race. Pfeiffer also went back to the track for the European Track Championships and won a silver in the Elimination Race behind Lotte Kopecky, before clinching a silver medal in the U23 Road Race in the 2022 Road World Championships after a very strong performance in a challenging race.

In 2023 Pfeiffer took her first WorldTour win at Brugge-De Panne launching an exceptional attack to come away with victory. Her success continued with a victory at the British National Road Championships in June.

A career highlight came in 2024, when Pfeiffer sprinted to 3rd at the Paris Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift – ecstatic with a podium in a race that she absolutely loves.

Her role model is Lizzie Deignan and her main ambition is to become an Olympic and World Champion in the Road Race and Individual Time Trial.
